Welcome to the Rose Quartz Headquarters

My bedroom is a sacred place. In fact it is so sacred I am going to smudge and mop my room in addition to all the loving and healing talismans I have adorned everywhere to protect me as I sleep, rest, restore and create Shapel.

I fell in love with pink when I was an adult. It was not always my favorite color. I never hated it but as I grew older I can see why everything can stand a dose of pink and its loving and healing energy. This is why all my bedrooms have been pink since I've rented or owned the property.

The color Pink is used in color therapy and color healing art for love, self love/acceptance, compassion and nurturing. Pink radiates the energy of unconditional love is a very powerful force for emotional healing and support. Pink often represents femininity and romance. It makes us feel accepted and nurtures us. Pink can also be associated with immaturity and lack of confidence. It embodies all things good in the world and is not meant to threaten or intimidate.

It is very important with all the many roles and hats I wear that the place where I rest is soft. It is where my Sacred Beauty is restored and I can affirm my softness and femininity. In fact many rituals of beauty and rest take place here. This little nook here features my rose gold vanity with makeup and my personal facial steamer. As you know the secret to great makeup is great skin! I always ensure I am able to cleanse my face and give it extra love after makeup applications. On my shelfs you can see some of my skincare, because yes I use my own products in real life lol. Along with a neti pot when I get really congested. It works great with the steamer, because breathe is an essential step in beauty and wellness. On the opposing shelf are spiritual colognes and candles. The photo features one of my many identities, the beautiful wild Queen who tames the King of beast because she has this duality within her.

I have too many clothes for my old fashioned style two closets. But I try to make it work. I just put up these blackout light curtains because I cherished my sleep in the summer. During the colder months I put up my sheer curtains because I appreciate the light filtering in naturally with it being more dark during those seasons. My humidifier has actively messed up my night stand but as someone that gets afflicted with respiratory problems, I take breathing very seriously. (As we all should) Oh and now my little night stands! I have two! One get more use than the other in terms of my charging hub, night light, clock/speaker, and books. Oh if you know me , you know my unbelievable love affair with having books everywhere. I tried not to overdue it though because this is a resting space.

My bed! Love it! The softest most calming place I try to spend as much time as possible in. I like the sensation of softness and that is why I have my bed decked out in the most coziest of linens and things.

I am not the biggest fan of watching TV or having one in my room but I like that I can shift the energy by simply covering it up. Now that I have a toddler it has saved me when I needed a few more moments of rest when she was younger.

I hope you all enjoyed my bedroom tour! hope it made you feel warm, safe and inspired as it does me. Is your bedroom a safe, restorative and loving place for you? Can you feel peace when you enter? Have you cleaned and rid yourself of things that no longer serve you? Feel free to comment below about your sacred space currently or ideally.
